Happy and Healthy at Hans Herr

Students at Hans Herr build on the basics they learned in primary school to take learning to a whole new level.

Hans Herr students spend their days studying language arts, math, science, social studies, and specials like art, music, phys-ed, library science, and guidance. The school sends teams to the county STEM competition each year.

Hans Herr has an active Parent Teacher Organization that conducts activities throughout the year. We love our PTO!

The District's band, chorus, and orchestra programs begin in fourth grade. Students have the opportunity to rent instruments, take lessons at school, and perform in several concerts throughout the year.

Every third grader receives a Chromebook to use at school and at home through the District's 1:1 learning initiative. Chromebooks are used in grades 3 through 12.

Hans Herr is filled with traditions! Third graders get messy with pumpkin math, fourth graders parade around the school on idiom day, and fifth graders learn all about careers from seniors at the CTC. And that's just the beginning . . .
