Welcome, New L-S Staff

Lampeter-Strasburg School District welcomed more than 30 new employees to begin the 2022-2023 school year, including a new assistant principal at Martin Meylin.

Cory Robison - Martin Meylin Middle School Assistant Principal

Mr. Robison stepped into the role of assistant principal at Martin Meylin Middle School in July, after Mrs. Kowitz’s promotion to principal at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Mr. Robison was previously a seventh-grade social studies teacher at the School District of Lancaster. He decided to switch from teaching to administration to build relationships and to be a force for change.

As a self-described Navy brat, Mr. Robison lived in 7 states before his family settled in Gettysburg. He grew up hearing “Whatever you are, be a good one,” and has focused that mantra on education. Mr. Robison received his Master’s degree and Principal Certification from Millersville University and attended Penn State and Millersville as an undergraduate.

In addition to his career as an educator, Mr. Robison is a founder of Bench Mark Program. This non-profit organization provides weightlifting and personal training services to at-risk youth. He continues to serve on the organization's board of directors. Mr. Robison resides in Lancaster City with his wife and daughter.
