Four LSHS students have advanced to the regional level in this year's Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) chorus. Mia LaFontaine (Soprano 2), All-East choir member Ellie Rhinier (Alto 2), Julian Ford (Tenor 1), and James Appelgrijn (Tenor 2) participated in the District 7 Chorus Festival last weekend at Central York High School, and successfully auditioned for the PMEA Region 5 Chorus Festival, which will be held at Bethlehem Area School District in March. This also qualifies all four students to audition for the All-State Festival. Congratulations to this hardworking and talented group!
You can catch Mia, Ellie, Julian, and James in the high school's production of Mamma Mia!, which runs from Thursday, February 27 - Saturday, March 1 at the LSHS Performing Arts Center. Tickets are now on sale.
