2025 National Honor Society Induction
Congratulations to the 62 new members of the Lampeter-Strasburg High School National Honor Society, inducted at a ceremony on November 20, 2025.
Presenting the 2025-2026 Lampeter-Strasburg High School National Honor Society
The Lampeter-Strasburg High School National Honor Society (NHS) added 62 new members at an induction ceremony on Thursday, November 20, bringing its membership for the 2025-2026 school year to a record high of 95 students.
Each year, teachers select students who consistently demonstrate scholarship, leadership, service, and character - the four National Honor Society pillars - to join the organization. In order to be considered for NHS, students must apply and be vetted with criteria including cumulative grade point average and participation in extracurricular activities.
This year's guest speaker was LSHS social studies teacher Christy McCanna. NHS members and guests also heard from Dr. Feeney, the LSHS principal, Mr. Marsh, the NHS advisor, and student officers. Each inductee became a member by being pinned by their chosen honored guest (parent, relative, teacher, coach, etc.) signifying their commitment to upholding National Honor Society values.
We recognize this hardworking group of students for doing the work necessary to receive this prestigious honor. Congratulations!
